Cancellation by MaltaBlueDiving

In the case where cancellation has been made by MaltaBlueDiving due to weather conditions as explained below or for any other reason.

WEATHER CONDITIONS:

If the weather on the day of your diving trip or open water portion of a course prevents us from having a safe and enjoyable experience you will be informed that the trip is cancelled or for the need to change the diving trip to another location or date.

In the event of rain without strong winds or big waves we will NOT cancel any dive trips, as it does not prevent us from having an enjoyable and safe experience. Quite often the weather will have changed by the time we reach the dive site or will be very different to where the day originated.

Dive schedule is subject to change without any prior notice in accordance with weather conditions for your safety. MaltaBlueDiving cannot be held responsible for adverse unforeseen weather conditions, involving rough seas and poor visibility.
We recommend a travel & cancellation insurance policy that covers you for unforeseen circumstances. We will fully support you with any travel insurance claims.

Payment and Booking Conditions

A 20% deposit or full payment, depending on group booking or activity, is required in advance to secure your booking. Bookings can not be held, guaranteed or confirmed until payment has been received.  Course materials can not be provided until we have received payment and registration details for each student. The remaining balance must be paid when completing the paperwork for the trip/course on the first day of the activity by cash only.

All prices are advertised in euros. Other currencies are not accepted. All prices include fees and taxes.
Deposits are generally sent by a PayPal email or Revolut, due to it’s high levels of security and relatively low fees in comparison to international bank transfers. Payments can be made through PayPal with an existing PayPal account or simply by using a credit or debit card. Alternatively payments can be made via bank transfers to our UK or European bank accounts.
Please note that bank payments must be received prior to the day of the trip/course and bookings can not be confirmed until said payment has been received.

Health and No Fly Time

All divers must be in good health to dive. Every diver is required to complete a brief medical questionnaire.  Click here to view to view the form.  If you answer ‘yes’ to any of the questions on the first page, you will need to visit your doctor and obtain medical approval before registering for the course or diving activity.
You need to allow at least 12 to 24 hours after your last dive, before flying. Therefore, if you are flying the following day, make sure you contact us first so that we can advise you accordingly.

Waiver of Liability

All divers must read, fill out, and sign a copy of the PDSA Liability Release and Assumption of Risk agreement before diving services can be provided. Please review prior to booking. Additional waivers and medical questionnaires may be required for those divers undergoing training, depending on the course requirements imposed by both PADI and SSI.
