Please read the terms & conditions below to fully understand our polices of bookings.
Guests should be in agreement with these terms & conditions before making a booking.
Refund Policy:
MaltaBlueDiving´s refund policy attempts to accommodate its individual guest’s needs as much as possible in accordance with the following Terms & Conditions guidelines:
Force Majeure & Third Parties
Malta Blue Diving is not responsible for actions or changes made by independent third parties such as airlines, hotels, transport providers, or tour operators.
For safety and operational reasons, we reserve the right to shorten an activity, change the itinerary/dive site, or adjust logistics due to weather/sea conditions, mechanical issues, or other operational constraints.
Securing Your Booking
Online bookings are secured once full payment has been successfully processed. A booking confirmation/voucher will be issued, please bring it with you (a digital copy is fine).
Pre-Arrival Cancellations (Individual Bookings)
- If cancelled 21 days or more prior to the date of service. A €25 administrative fee per person, per day applies.
- If cancelled less than 21 days prior to the date of service, payments are non-refundable.
In special circumstances, we may hold the deposit as credit for a future booking, provided it is used within one year. If ‘special circumstances’ apply, we’ll always look at your situation carefully and do our best to help. Any decision is made by Malta Blue Diving on a case-by-case basis
Scheduled Dives / Dive Packages / Courses
- Dives from a package are not refundable if the diver does not show up or arrives too late for the scheduled dive.
- Refunds are not given for scheduled dives that are not completed once already on location.
- If a scheduled course dive/session is missed due to late arrival or no-show, an additional charge may apply to reschedule the missed lesson (to cover instructor time and logistics).
24-Hour Cancellation for Dives in case of illness or injury
Dives can only be refunded if cancelled by the client at least 24 hours in advance, by informing us in person or by telephone during our working hours:
- May–October: 07:00–17:00
- November–April: 07:00–16:00
A refund may be provided if the diver is unable to dive due to sickness and provides a doctor’s certificate. In normal circumstances, the client must inform the dive centre at least the day before the diving day.
We understand that in some cases advance notice is not possible, but it must be clear that the sole reason for cancellation is sickness.
Being drunk or hungover is not considered sickness. The diver will not be allowed to dive, and charges will still apply.
Weather / Breakdowns / Travel Costs
If clients have booked a dive package or course and are unable to dive due to bad weather, vehicle/boat breakdown, or any other operational reason, Malta Blue Diving is responsible only for the services we provide. We cannot cover related travel costs such as flights, accommodation, transport, or other holiday expenses.
We strongly recommend adequate travel insurance that covers diving activities and equipment.
